Welcome to the sport of Slackline

Slackline will be at Big Blue for the first time this year. Displays from some of the sports best plus your chance to 'PLAY!' and taste the sports.

Whether practiced a few feet, or a few thousand from the ground, slackers all agree slackin' off helps to improve balance and concentration in all aspects of everyday life.

The sport of slackline was developed in the late 1970's and early 1980's in Yosemite National Park; climbers used rest days to walk first on chains, and later on nylon webbing to create a new genre of funabulism - slackline was born!

Since then word has spread around the World with some clever refinements along the way!
