NEWTON FAULKNER TO HEADLINE THE BIG BLUE FESTIVAL 2010

p(intro). The Big Blue Festival 2010 is pleased to announce British singer songwriting sensation Newton Faulkner as the headline act on Saturday 18th September. Taking to the stage on Saturday night Newton will be wowing the crowd with hit singles from his double platinum debut album ‘Hand Built by Robots’ and follow up album ‘Re-built by Humans’.
Recognised for his experimental guitar sounds, poignant vocals and breathtaking finger-picking skills Newton Faulkner is one of the biggest selling male solo artists of his generation and attracts a huge fan following, this will be the only festival appearance by Newton Faulkner on the Isle of Wight this year. An internationally famous top Radio 1 DJ will round off proceedings on Saturday evening, playing the biggest dance of tunes of the year at this unique beachside location.
The Big Blue Festival 2010 will combine the very best from the world of extreme sports, music and entertainment with the naturally stunning backdrop of the Isle of Wight at Yaverland Beach in Sandown.
Visitors to the festival can expect to see professional competitions and extreme sports displays throughout the three day event, which will play host to top extreme sports athletes from all over the world and one of the biggest mobile urban parks in Europe. A brand new format called ‘Play’ will be on offer which will provide a unique opportunity for the general public to try out some of the amazing sports on offer to find out how you can get involved check out 'Play'
