p(intro). At Big Blue 2010, Eleven acts (bands/solo artists/duos) will be chosen through www.getmeonstage.com to play the main stage at the Big Blue Festival; three on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday days and two on the Saturday evening before the festival main headliner. Previous acts to have played the festival include The Pigeon Detectives and The Bees and Rob Da Bank.

How will the selection process work? See it as a competition! The winning band will have the main support, before the headiners, the main runner up will be on directly before the winner and the nine other runner ups will be spread across the three days.

The chosen bands will all receive passes for the whole 3 day festival and return ferry journey tickets to and from the Isle of Wight plus guest passes for their friends. How good is that!!!

Each of the eleven chosen bands will also receive a CD of photos of their performance taken by a professional music photographer.
