Getting there and away!

· Runs services over three routes to and from the Island.

· Portsmouth to Ryde Pier Head (Fast Cat Passenger Service). Journey time approx 22 mins. Walk to Ryde Bus Station and pick up the Number 8 bus to Sandown.

· Portsmouth to Fishbourne (Car and Passenger Service). Journey time approx 40 mins. Once on the Island follow the Big Blue Festival road signs.

· Lymington to Yarmouth (Car and Passenger Service). Journey time approx 30 mins. Arriving by foot- take the Number 7 Bus to Newport Bus Station then pick up the Number 8 to Sandown. Via car follow the signs to Newport, pick up the road to Sandown then follow the Big Blue Festival signs.

If you are travelling by car and ferry and you haven’t booked a car/ferry package with Wightlink you will need to book your crossing ASAP

RED FUNNEL

· Runs services over two routes to and from the island.

· 24hr passenger/vehicle ferries operate between Southampton and East Cowes.

· The Red Jet foot passenger service runs every 30 minutes throughout the day from Southampton to West Cowes in approx. 23 minutes.

· Both services connect to a free bus service from Southampton Central Rail Station.

· Once on the Island a connecting bus service will be waiting to take you from the Red Jet foot passenger through to Newport Bus Station. Once at Newport pick up the Number 8 bus to Sandown.

· Once on the Island (via Car ferry) follow the road signs to Newport, at Newport pick up the road to Sandown and follow the Big Blue Festival signs.

Please note: Customers travelling with a vehicle are requested to arrive at least 30 minutes and not more than 60 minutes prior to their booked sailing time.

Train it!

· South West Trains operate services to

· Portsmouth Harbour, where you will be metres away from the Wightlink FastCat service

· Southampton Central where a free bus will take you the short journey to Red Funnel’s Red Jet and passenger/vehicle service.

Bus it!

· From Newport Bus Station to Big Blue the Number 8 runs frequently over the whole weekend every 30 mins in the day and every 60 mins in the evening.

· From Ryde Bus Station to Big Blue the Number 8 runs frequently over the whole weekend every 30 mins in the day and every 60 mins in the evening.

· From Yarmouth Bus Station to Big Blue take the Number 7 to Newport Bus Station (every 30 mins day and night) and pick up the Number 8.

· From East Cowes Wells Road to Big Blue take the Number 4 (every hour) to Ryde Bus Station and pick up the Number 8.

If you live on the Island or are staying locally please avoid driving to the Festival. Arrange a lift, taxi, or walk if you live nearby.

City to Surf!

· Greyhound coach from London Victoria to Portsmouth or Southampton in under 2 hours from £1 plus booking fee www.greyhound.co.uk

Bike It!

In keeping with the outdoor spirit of the festival a 'green way' to get to the Festival is by bike. With a safe and secure bike park available there is no excuse not to get on two wheels!
